1 Year Stats

Harper had her 1 year doctors appointment a couple weeks ago (March 26th)...

• Weight: 19 lbs. 5 oz. (42nd percentile)

• Height 30.50 inches (90th percentile)

Nothing much to report, she had four shots.  She is still running pretty tall (long?), remember you can click the "stats" label below to see history if you want!

6 Month Stats

Harper went in for her 6 month appointment this morning. She is doing well, got three different vaccine shots along with an oral and is now at home recovering with Mom and big sis. 

• Weight: 15 lbs. 3 oz (30th percentile)
• Height: 27.75 inches (92nd percentile)

She is growing up fast, and she is lonnngggg.  Ankeny High School girls basketball star some day?  Claire went along for the ride and also got a little flu shot mist thing.  Everybody did well, crying was at a minimum.  

Dual Dr. Appointments

Harper had her 4-month appointment today...

• Weight: 13 lbs. 6 ozs (31st percentile)
• Height: 25 1/2 inches (87th percentile)

AND

Claire had her 3-year appointment today...

• Weight: 31 lbs. (53rd percentile)
• Height: 36 1/2 inches (34th percentile)

Everybody is healthy and doing well.  No shots for Claire, Harper HATED her vaccines.  Other than that, nothing to report.  We have taken a ton of pics over the past few weeks (CJW B-Day, Clayton trip, etc. etc.) maybe we will throw a few out here on the web someday soon! :)

2 Month Stats

Harper had her 2-month appointment today...

• Weight: 10 lbs. 3 ozs (20th percentile)
• Height: 22 3/4 inches (61st percentile)

Growing like a weed!  

2 Week Stats

Harper had her first scheduled doctors appointment yesterday. 

• Weight: 6lbs. 14 ozs (12th percentile)
• Height: 20.00" (38th percentile)

With Harper being born so early, the doc was VERY impressed with her weight gain,  (she was born at 6-6 and weighed 6-0 when we left the hospital).  I guess we haven't really taken any new pics but this one below was snapped via cell phone just yesterday.  Since that was the same day as the doc appointment, might as well toss it up here:

Harper Elise!

Harper Elise Weiner was born Wednesday, March 21st at 12:52 am, weighing in at 6 lbs. 6 oz, measuring 19 inches long.  We had a c-section scheduled for April 5th, and her due date was April 14th -- but -- Harper was in a hurry.  Andrea's water broke at ~9:30pm last night and the rest is history.  She is just barely considered pre-term which changes the way she is treated here at Mercy just slightly (extra care/food) but is 100% perfectly healthy.  Here are a few snapshots from the first few hours after birth.  When we get time/rest, we will take a few more/closeups.  Compare these to pics of Claire at that time and they look like twin sisters!

2 Year Stats

Claire had her 2 year old doctors appointment...

• Weight: 27 lbs. 7 oz. (60th percentile)
• Height 34.50 inches (75th percentile)

Nothing else to report!! 

15 month stats

Claire had her 15 month doctors appointment a couple weeks ago...

• Weight: 23 lbs. 3 oz. (60th percentile)
• Height 31.00 inches (75th percentile)

Nothing else to report really -- she is doing great!  

1 Year Stats

Claire had her 1 year doctors appointment on her birthday on Wednesday (the 14th)...

• Weight: 22 lbs. 3 oz. (75th percentile)
• Height 30.00 inches (75th percentile)

Nothing else to report really -- she is doing fine.  Getting molars in, which we thought was weird but the doc said is normal.  Who knew?

We are having a little 1st birthday shin-dig at the house tomorrow (Saturday), which should be fun.  We will post pictures up here soon after, assuming the laziness doesn't set in...

9 Month Stats

Claire had her 9 month appointment this morning...

• Weight: 20 lbs. (75th percentile)
• Height 27.75 inches (75th percentile)

Everything went well.  She had two more shots in her (tree trunk) legs.  That was painful but quickly forgotten.  Then she had to have her finger pricked.  That sucked.  She was sniffling about that all the way back to the car.  

Otherwise the doctor told us to start her on table food (which we have already done of course) and stay away from choking hazards with POPCORN being one of the leaders.  If you take a scroll down this web site, you will see that she was eating popcorn at her uncle Charlie's basketball game back in February!  Blame that one on Grandpa Weiner.

If we have the energy, we will try to post some new pics up tonight.  We all know how that goes...

6 Month Stats

Claire went in for her 6 month appointment this morning. She is doing well, got three different vaccine shots in the leg and is at home recovering with Mom.

• Weight: 17 lbs. 12 oz (75th percentile)
• Height: 26 inches (75th percentile)

She is growing like a weed! Maybe tonight we can take some 6 month pics and throw them on here as well. (Or maybe we get lazy and do nothing, we'll just have to wait and see how it goes)

2 Week Stats

Claire had her first scheduled doctors appointment today. If she had a baseball card, here's what would be on the back in the stats column:

• Weight: 8lbs. 7 ozs (50th percentile)
• Height: 20.25" (40th percentile)

At the bottom of baseball cards there used to be a "fun fact" about the player (at least the Topps ones) so what is Claire's latest "fun fact"? Umm...

"Claire enjoys looking around the room with her big eyes and pooping on her mother while getting changed."

Claire Judene!

Claire Judene Weiner was born Tuesday, July 14th at 4:19 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz, measuring 20 inches long... (Born on 07/14 weighing 7 - 14)

Andrea started getting contractions at work Monday morning at 7 AM, they became regular around 2 PM, we were in the hospital around 7 PM, she got to start pushing around 2 PM the next day, and after an emergency c section 2 hours later, we were blessed with this beautiful girl:
